Block Joint Mortar
Block jointing mortar is a special AAC adhesive designed for bonding modern building blocks together using a polymer-modified formula. Our black joint mortar is a ready-to-use mix that contains engineered polymers and additives that make strong, long-lasting bonds between blocks. Our black joint mortar doesn’t deliver a strong foundation; it offers trust and security that you can rely on
Area of Application
Used for laying and jointing AAC blocks, fly ash bricks, lightweight concrete blocks, CLC blocks, and other masonry units. Suitable for internal and external wall applications in residential, commercial, and industrial construction.
Benefits
- Ready to use — only water needed for mixing
- Provides strong adhesive bond between masonry units
- Thin layer application → saves material and labour
- Improves construction accuracy and alignment
- Reduces wastage and crack formation
- Faster walling & better productivity
- Self-curing, no water curing required after application
Curing
- No additional water curing required. Natural air curing after application is sufficient;
- standard precautions (protect from rain/extreme heat) should be taken temporarily.
Coverage:
- Approximate coverage varies by block size and application thickness, but typical values for a 40 kg bag are:
- ~100–130 sq.ft. @ 3–4 mm joint thickness (standard AAC blocks)
- Coverage may change slightly based on block type, surface finish, and joint thickness.
