Polymer-Modified Tile Adhesive for Interior Applications LacoFix C1T is a ready-to-mix cement-based tile adhesive designed for fixing standard ceramic tiles on interior walls and floors. It can also be used for porous natural stone flooring on suitable prepared surfaces. Add clean water, mix to a smooth paste, and apply with a notched trowel for a controlled thin-bed installation

APPLICATION GUIDE
How to Apply

Prepare the surface
The substrate must be clean, stable and free from loose particles, oil, wax, dust and curing compounds. Damp highly absorbent
surfaces to a saturated-surface-dry condition; do not leave standing water

Mix the adhesive
Add 250-280 ml of clean water per kg of powder. Mix slowly for 3-5 minutes until a lump-free paste is achieved. Allow it to stand
briefly, then remix. Do not add extra water after mixing.

Apply with a notched trowel
Spread the adhesive over a manageable area using a suitable notched trowel. Comb the ridges in one direction. Use a trowel size suitable for the tile size and surface flatness.

Fix and align tiles
Place the tile into the fresh adhesive with a firm pressing and slight twisting movement. Use spacers where required. Check bond coverage, alignment and level at regular intervals

Cure before grouting
Protect fresh work from vibration, water and traffic. Grout only after the adhesive has set sufficiently – normally after a minimum of 24 hours, subject to actual site conditions.

Use it for tile fixing only after the wet-area waterproofing system is completed where waterproofing is required. For shower and bathroom floors, apply LacoSeal as per its approved system instructions.
What is the difference between LacoFix C1T and C1TE?
C1T is intended for standard interior ceramic tiling. C1TE is the enhanced option for exterior conditions, vitrified tiles and tile-on-tile applications
