APPLICATION GUIDE
How to Apply
01
Prepare joints completely
Tile adhesive must be set and joints must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, moisture and loose material. Do not use on wet or damp joints.
02
Mix all components
Empty the full Part A and Part B packs into a clean pail. Mix slowly for about two minutes, then add Part C gradually until the
mixture is uniform. Do not add water and do not split the pre-batched components.
03
Pack the joints
Pour the mixed material onto the tile surface and use a hard rubber squeegee diagonally to force grout fully into the joints. Work in small areas because the pot life is limited.
04
Clean without delay
Start initial cleaning before excess epoxy hardens. Use clean water, a non-abrasive pad or sponge and suitable cleaning
technique. Do not flood the joints
05
Final clean and cure
Complete the final clean within 24 hours using a neutral cleaner as appropriate. Protect the area from service chemicals until full cure is achieved.
PRODUCT FAQS
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between LacoPoxy and cement grout?
LacoPoxy is an epoxy system that creates a denser, lower-absorption joint intended for higher-demand locations. LacoGrout is a
cementitious option for normal residential and general commercial joints.
Is LacoPoxy difficult to apply?
It needs faster, more disciplined work than cement grout because it has a limited pot life and must be cleaned before it hardens. First-time users should test a small area.
Can it be used in swimming pools?
It is intended for pool tile joints where a low-absorption, durable finish is required. Confirm full system compatibility and curing time before filling the pool.
