APPLICATION GUIDE
How to Apply
01
Prepare joints
Wait until the tile adhesive has set. Remove spacers, dust, loose material and adhesive lumps from the joints. The joints must be clean before grouting.
02
Mix the grout
Add 200-220 ml of clean water per kg of powder. Mix to a smooth paste, let it rest for about five minutes and remix. Avoid adding
excess water.
03
Fill joints fully
Spread diagonally across the tile surface using a rubber grout float. Press material firmly into joints and work in small manageable
areas.
04
Clean at the correct time
When the grout begins to firm up, wipe the surface using a damp sponge and circular movements. Rinse the sponge often but
avoid flooding the joints.
05
Finish the surface
After the grout has hardened, remove any light haze with a clean dry cloth. Protect the completed work from heavy washing and traffic during curing
PRODUCT FAQS
Frequently Asked Questions
Which grout colour should I choose?
Use a close colour match for a continuous look, or a contrasting shade to define the tile pattern. Request a physical colour chart
before final selection.
Can LacoGrout be used outdoors?
It is intended for interior and exterior tile joints. For swimming pools, commercial kitchens or areas with high chemical or stain exposure, specify LacoPoxy instead
When can I grout after tiling?
Wait at least 24 hours after tile fixing under normal conditions. Allow longer where the adhesive has not fully set because of humidity, low temperature or poor ventilation.
